SBA.com® Request Status Resource

For visitors that have a request for a PPP Loan with SBA.com®

If you started a PPP Loan request on SBA.com®, and need support please read the four categories below for help on next steps and where to follow up.

  1. Many visitors that have started their PPP request  with SBA.com® and completed their loan application through our partner have had their loan applications approved and accepted by a lender. Out partner should communicate to you first your PLP number and you should sign a note provided by your actual lender. Funding is supposed to occur within ten days,  but some lenders may delay funding beyond that ten day period.  Questions about the 10 day funding rule? Read more here. Also check our FAQ for frequently asked questions about PPP loans and our service.
  2. The following applies to you if you started your request with SBA.com® and submitted a complete PPP loan application through our partner, but have not received an email notifying you that your application has been accepted by a lender and that your funds have been reserved. This means that our partner has not been able to connect your loan application with a lender in their network. This may be because you are not eligible based on the information in your application, or because you have not submitted all of the necessary documentation with your application. We recommend you double check your application and application materials to ensure that you have provided all the necessary information and documentation. In order to do this, follow the instructions in the section below “Check The Status of Your SBA.com® PPP Loan Request.”. Please also review how to complete your PPP Loan Application.

  3. The following applies to you if you requested a PPP Loan through SBA.com® but you did not then submit and certify a fully complete loan application through our partner. This means that our partner was not able to submit your application to any lenders because they did not have a completed application for you. In order for our partner to be able to connect you with a PPP lender if  funds are still available, you will need to fully complete and certify your loan application with our partner. In order to do this, follow the instructions in the section below “Check The Status of Your SBA.com® PPP Loan Request.” Note that SBA.com® is not a lender, you do not have to use us or our partner to access PPP funds and there is no guarantee that you will receive a PPP loan.
  4. The following applies to you if you requested a PPP Loan with SBA.com® but you are not sure whether you submitted and certified a fully complete application with  our partner. You can check the status of your application by following the instructions in the section below “Check The Status of Your SBA.com® PPP Loan Request.”

Key Contact Information

While SBA.com® does not hold any details on your specific loan application, you can contact our partner (the loan agent) and/or  the actual lender you were connected to for up-to-date information. SBA.com® does not know who your lender is or store any of the files you submit to our partner. SBA.com® is not a lender.

Our partner and/or your actual lender  will review your support request as soon as possible. Please note that due to high call volumes  and demand, it may take up to 24-48 hours to receive a response. Please have patience with the process. We have tested our partner’s support email, phone, and livechat ourselves and it is pretty quick. Please try this before escalating further.

At SBA.com® we send all our PPP visitors  to our partner and they are your agent to complete your application  and connect you with a lender to get you funded. We have no visibility into who your lender is.

Our partner has many lenders on their marketplace. In round 1 Ready Capital/Knight Capital approved a large bulk of requests.   While we have no visibility on who your actual lender is if it is Ready Capital / Knight Capital we have tracked down a direct line and support email for you to follow up directly with them if our partner is not able to assist you.
